AUTO DECAY

This is the destiny of all cars, it's only a matter of time. The museums of hate have no walls. I'm 42 and have never driven a car, probably never will, most of my good friends own vehicles, I ride in them, I'm a hypocrite, sometimes I enjoy it. I took this photograph in Creston, while walking in the woods near my friends cabin.

DIALOGUE

I found this door in a industrial junk yard behind the Cheam Native Rez.

READING

reading

my friend is reading Hopi Survival Kit
I'm re-reading Crime and Punishment

I hope the moon
behind the clouds
can give me
strength tonight
words heavy on my mind
my jacket
is a screaming face
I sleep only with
my own smell

LOVE CULT

Found this in Vancouver last week-end, it was on a strip on negatives I picked up while walking down commercial drive.

Have you ever had one of those
cold terrifying moments
the kind that leaves the palms of your hands dry
when all your thoughts topple in on you
so you have to breath in slowly
to stop yourself from fainting
because the realization that you may never
be able to love anybody
has entered your mind
ALONE......scream a thousand tired nerves

You see a 100 long stem roses wilt and die
in the gardens of new born hearts
You see confetti burst into flames
in the dancing hands of page boys
turning to powdered ash the body of St. Valentine

WHAT'S YOUR 1920's GANGSTER NAME?

If I was put in a time machine and sent back to 1920's Chicago, "Sheets" Hallway would be my gangster name, it has a certain menacing banality, that would strike fear and confusion into the hearts of my enemies.

PRESENT, PAST, FUTURE

Found this today on the way to the store, the snowy conditions make it hard to find anything that isn't all soggy. I will soon be starting a new photo project based on Pablo Nerudas' The Book of Questions, but will still post found material now and again, or when the mood takes me.
